Logos
There are several W-FL BOCES logos that we use as an organization. Our Primary Logos consist of two different iterations: A circular swirl logo, and a longer, full-length wordmark.

The swirl itself should not be used without "Wayne-Finger Lakes BOCES." The swirl may be used, on occasion, as a decorative mark when the entire logo is visible elsewhere on the same page.
Our Secondary Logos build off of the strength, longevity and brand recognition the Primary Logos have established over the last several years.
Some examples of Secondary Logos include the Belonging at BOCES logo and #WFLLeaders wordmark.
Access the logos here: Brand Portal Asset Folder
The above folder contains png files for all available logos, as well as svg and eps files for printing needs.
Please email Renee.Roa@wflboces.org if you are seeking a high-resolution logo or vector file for large-scale projects.
Colors & Fonts
Wayne-Finger Lakes BOCES uses several typefaces across the board. They are:

Eurostile and Myriad Pro are found in our main W-FL logos. Eurostile should be used sparingly or when there is an opportunity for extra flair. It is available on Adobe Fonts.
Myriad Pro is a more commonly found typeface and can be used anytime. It is available in Canva and Adobe Fonts.
League Spartan is a bold but lighthearted sans serif typeface that is easily accessible and found in Canva and Google Fonts.
Like League Spartan, Arial is found in most systems and is known as one of the eight email-safe typefaces. For this reason, it is now our preferred typeface for all W-FL BOCES emails.
Some of these typefaces are available for download. Access the Brand Portal here.
Aside from our logo — more specifically the swirl component — color is one of the most important pieces of our brand identity. We have four primary colors, and several secondary colors used in harmony across all of our various communications.
Part of the brand strategy is encouraging anyone who is creating content that represents the organization (whether it's the Comms Team, a secretary at one of our sites or a student working on a project) to use these specific colors whenever that situation arises.
Some notes:
- BOCES Blue is our No.1 primary color. It is to be used in lieu of black whenever possible.
- Please do not make up new colors, or use a new blue when creating content referring to Wayne-Finger Lakes BOCES.
The specific hex codes are below:
Primary Colors:
BOCES Blue - #37588b
Belonging Blue - #b9ceeb
Unified Yellow - #fad643
White - #ffffff
Secondary Colors:
Light Gray - #d9d9d9
Light Yellow - #ffefac
Tan - #d8ba92
Old Gold - #bf8f23

Email Signatures
We now have a standardized way to create signatures for everyone in our W-FL BOCES organization, with slight differences for BOCES and EduTech.
First, you will create your signature using the Word document template below. Then you will copy and paste the signature into your Outlook email account. There are step-by-step instructions below to follow.
Please download the template using the template below. Choose either the W-FL BOCES template or the EduTech template and fill in your information:
- Name
- Title
- Department
- Desk Phone
- Cell Phone (If you do not have a BOCES-provided cell phone, you can leave this blank)
Once you have filled out your information, hover your mouse over the template, click on the crosshairs in the upper left corner and hit CTRL-C to copy your signature.
To apply the new signature, open your Outlook application (there is currently an open bug with Microsoft, so this will only work in the old Outlook application).
In the toolbar at the bottom of your desktop, search for Outlook (DO NOT open Outlook (new)) and do the following:
- In the upper left, select File
- In the lower left, select Options
- Select Mail on the left, then Signatures on the right
-
Select New and give your new signature a name and hit OK With your new signature name highlighted, put your cursor in the bottom box and hit CTRL-V to paste your signature

About the Brand Portal
The Wayne-Finger Lakes BOCES Centralized Communications Team began a massive overhaul and refresh of our BOCES' brand strategy in late 2024. Over the course of about six months, our Comms Team recreated new vector files of logos, streamlined the color palette and font families, and established brand guidelines and standards akin to those you would come across at large corporations and renowned universities.
This Brand Portal is designed to be a one-stop, self-service resource for both internal W-FL BOCES employees and external stakeholders who are creating content that represents our organization and highlights the remarkable work of our students and staff.
For more than 50 years, Wayne-Finger Lakes BOCES has served students, teachers, administrators and entire communities across 25 school districts and five counties in Upstate New York. In every way, the W-FL BOCES brand should strike a feeling of connection, achievement and Belonging for those that interact with it.
If you have any questions about the Brand, associated assets, or need assistance using this portal, please email our Communications Team here.
