Today's #TBT post is dedicated to the incredible speech therapists that work daily to improve the communication skills of our students. Our throwback photo features BOCES Speech Therapist Ellen Swain working with Elementary students from Wayne Central School during American Education Week. The photo was featured in the Wayne County Newspaper in November of 1979!

With Christmas only a week away, we know we're bound to see lots of Christmas sweaters, wrapping paper, presents and candy canes in many of our buildings- and maybe even a few festive face masks! While the past two holiday seasons have been a bit different, we hope you're all going into this year with hopeful smiles and cheerful hearts, which is why we've shared this fun throwback of a smiling employee in her festive Christmas sweater ready to unwrap a gift!

Happy #ThrowbackThursday! To celebrate 50 years of Making Success Possible, today's archived photo features the 1989 Wayne-Finger Lakes BOCES Board of Education. If it weren't for the support and dedication of each and every BOE, we truly wouldn't be where we are today! Pictured are L to R Front Row: Mr. Edward Raps, Mr. Allen Saxby, Mrs. Gene Cathy, Mrs. Ruth Whiting, & Dr. Harold Bowman (District Superintendent). L to R Back Row: Mr. Harry Kowalski, Mrs. Peg Dodds (Board Clerk), Mrs. Nadine Stevens, Mr. Samuel Passalacqua (President of the Board), and Mr. Bert Alexander.

The Holiday season allows us to reflect on all the things we're thankful for, and the things that are truly worth celebrating. In today's throwback, we are showcasing the hard work of the seniors that come through the doors of our Tech and Career Centers each and every year. This aerial photo is from the Twenty-Seventh Annual Student Recognition Ceremony at the Wayne Technical and Career Center. Each year this event celebrates the hard work and accomplishments of seniors in the region that have successfully completed their technical and career programs.
