C-S currently partners with Wayne County Community Schools and Foodlink to offer emergency food assistance by phone or email. In addition, we host a monthly drive-thru food distribution on the second Wednesday of each month from 4:30–6:30 PM.

We also collaborate with Helpful Hearts (Geneva St., Lyons) to provide emergency support for families in need.

Backpack Program

Dundee Central School District partners with Milly's Pantry to provide DCS families with the opportunity to participate in the Weekend Backpack Food Program. This program provides students with a non-perishable bag of food to take home at the end of each week.

Gananda Backpack Program

Foodlink

The district serves as a host site for Foodlink, and will be adding additional distributions to our normal schedule. Food distribution options can be accessed HERE.

We also have a student-only food/clothing/hygene items pantry that is accessible by our students and staff. We have overstocked that to be ready for demand. Walmart and Aldi gift cards for them. 

Thanksgiving grab and go dinner on November 19th, with 800 meals already spoken for.

Our School Based Health Center also provides benefit pathways for students.

UPK–6 students also receive a daily snack at 9:30 a.m., consisting of fresh fruit and/or vegetables.

Middle/High schools: 4:00–5:30 p.m.
Each dinner service includes two hot meal choices.

We have the capacity and experience to pack dinners for every student to bring home, including additional meals for weekends.

During the summer, our team successfully provided and delivered the equivalent of three meals per student, seven days per week.

We participate in the At-Risk Supper CACFP program to ensure continued access to nutritious meals outside of standard school hours.
