RJ's Birdhouse, an animated series created by Wayne-Finger Lakes BOCES Public Information Coordinator Christopher Cassavecca, has received national recognition from the National School Public Relations Association (NSPRA).

“I love that through this role I get an opportunity to meet new people, interact with familiar faces, and see first-hand the positive impact that Wayne-Finger Lakes BOCES provides."

Working collaboratively, the team developed a plan to immerse the Education Professions students into classrooms, dividing them up and allowing them to work one-on-one with NEC students so they were able to experience the day-to-day operations of a real special education classroom. 

Each year, the School Administrators Association of New York State (SAANYS) recognizes the hard work and dedication of administrators in the region. This year, one of our very own was chosen for this distinguished award.
