Huber and Ramos selected as finalists in Wayne-Finger Lakes BOCES District Superintendent search.
The Wayne-Finger Lakes Board of Cooperative Education has identified two finalists for their next top administrator. The finalists are:
Dr. Catherine “Catie” Huber, Superintendent of Schools, Alexander Central School District
Dr. Vicma “Vicky” Ramos, Superintendent of Schools, Greater Amsterdam School District
“Our board is pleased with the process that has produced two exceptional educators as finalists to be the next leader of our BOCES,” said Board President Dr. O.J. Sahler. “We hope community members are able to attend the upcoming finalist forums to meet the candidates.”
“The members of the Wayne-Finger Lakes Board of Cooperative Education have committed themselves to an extensive search process to identify a new leader to continue to move their BOCES forward,” saidMonroe 2-Orleans BOCES District Superintendent Jo Anne L. Antonacci, who is working with the board as search consultant.
Each finalist is scheduled for a daylong visit to Wayne-Finger Lakes BOCES, which will include a community forum from 4 – 5:15 p.m. at the Conference Center at Wayne-Finger Lakes BOCES, 131 Drumlin Court, in Newark, NY. The forums will allow staff and community members to meet each individual and ask questions. The schedule is as follows:
-Tuesday, Dec. 11, 2018: Dr. Vicky Ramos -Wednesday, Dec. 12, 2018: Dr. Catie Huber
