Finger Lakes Secondary School...

Serves students in grades 6-12 who have significant social, behavioral, and/or emotional difficulties. Students in our program are better able to experience success in a small setting, with a high level of structure and support. Our primary purpose is to provide an academic program while assisting students in developing skills necessary to get along with others and to teach them how to effectively deal with everyday problems. Classes are small, with one teacher and additional staff assigned to each class. Related service/support staff (i.e. school psychologist, counselor, social worker, speech therapist, teacher assistant, nurse, physical therapist, occupational therapist) work cooperatively with teachers to provide an integrated educational program based on individual needs.
