Principal's Message

I would like to take this opportunity to extend a warm welcome to you and your family. Finger Lakes Secondary School (FLSS) staff and I look forward to working with you and your child during the coming school year and encourage you to visit and attend school functions throughout the year.

We want all students who attend FLSS to be ready to tackle all challenges that life will present them and to be college and career ready. All students will receive standards based instruction that is challenging, yet personalized to allow them to succeed. Students will have the opportunity to participate in a variety of electives in the arts, sciences and humanities to ensure a well-rounded experience.

Our Positive Behavior Intervention and Supports (PBIS) system provides a framework for students to learn the school-wide expectations of respect, integrity, safety and engagement through direct and incidental instruction, modeling and reinforcement. FLSS staff are committed to providing support for students to ensure all students meet their potential.
