About the 2026 W-FL BOCES District Superintendent Search:

The Commissioner of Education, Dr. Betty Rosa, has appointed Ms. Lily Talcott, District Superintendent of Tompkins-Seneca-Tioga BOCES, to serve as the Search Consultant for the Wayne-Finger Lakes BOCES District Superintendent search.

The Board of Education will hold its initial meeting with Ms. Talcott on May 11, 2026.

At this meeting, and in consultation with Ms. Talcott, the Wayne-Finger Lakes BOCES Board of Education will decide which type of search to conduct (confidential, open, hybrid, etc.), and what characteristics the Board as a whole is looking for in the next District Superintendent.

Through this appointment, Ms. Talcott and TST BOCES will support a thorough with the goal of appointing a new District Superintendent ahead of the anticipated start date of October 1, 2026.
