We believe that the school experience should be safe, positive, and successful. While contributing to the physical, social and mental well being of the child.
We are here to teach, learn, and grow together. We are each responsible for what we say and do. Everyone is entitled to be safe. Everyone deserves respect.

Under the leadership of Mrs. Ryan a fund raiser was recently held to support the hurricane devastated island of Puerto Rico. Mrs. Ryan partnered with Ms. Markgraf from our BOCES program Business Ventures Too, and created a fund raiser for our students and staff. Ms. Markgraf brought her BV2 students over to make popcorn. All students who made donation received popcorn and the feeling of helping those in need. All the students participated and we raised $311.59 to donate to GBPLF One America Appeal, a group providing support to the families of Puerto Rico who lost everything to hurricane Maria. One of our Community Beliefs is Teamwork, and although that usually means teamwork within our classroom communities, this was an opportunity to support Team America! Great job students and thank you Mrs. Ryan and Ms. Markgraf.
Teamwork is a Community Belief at the Red Jacket Education Center. We are all here to teach, learn, and grow together. Our students and staff spotted an unsafe issue with our second bus loop. The soil had eroded from around the sidewalk, making an unsafe hazard to anyone walking on the sidewalk should they step off to the side. The Red Jacket School District provided us with plenty of top soil and Damion R and Mrs. Wood were more than willing to provide the elbow grease. Together they spread about five yards of tops soil over two days, making this area safe again. The new area will be seeded and turned into grass. Thanks to this teamwork displayed by Damion and Mrs. Wood, we are all safer.
