Personalized Learning Conference 2020

Vision 2020: Healthy Empowered Students

The Wayne-Finger Lakes region is committed to student agency and empowerment. We believe that when districts work to create environments in which all students can succeed and thrive in school, we will have learners that are prepared for future success in college and career. Our third annual conference will focus on healthy empowered students and how we are leveraging personalization for all learners. The lenses of the conference will include:

  • Personalizing through the Eyes of Students
    (student-led presentations)

Vision 2020 - PL FLyer

Wayne-Finger Lakes Regional Mission to Personalize Learning

We will tailor learning to students’ individual strengths, needs and interests while providing flexibility and supports to ensure mastery at the highest standards possible.  This will be accomplished through using evidence to inform decisions, targeting instruction, leveraging the use of technology and empowering student ownership of their learning.

*New this year, Day 2 will feature a block of student-led breakout sessions.  Participants will learn directly from students about how they feel personalized learning is strengthening their educational journey and how their teachers have empowered them to take ownership of their learning.
