On January 14th, Abram Boerman, Superintendent of Highways for the Town of Ontario Highway Department, visited WTCC along with other highway superintendents to present a $500 check on behalf of the Wayne County Highway Superintendent Association. This generous donation was directed to the Heavy Equipment Repair and Operations program, supporting students as they develop essential skills for their future careers. Heavy Equipment Club President/Palmyra-Macedon senior, Bryce Redmond accepted the donation on behalf of his classmates.
Culinary Arts students baked Thanksgiving pies for local artists in appreciation for their community Bicentennial murals. Instructors are Chef Mattice and Chef McDonald.
Seniors of the Cosmetology program partnered up to create Halloween inspired Mannequin and nail designs. Winners were Carn-Evil Clown for scariest. Best Technical skill was Bob from Beetlejuice, and Most Creative and Best Nail Design was Corpse Bride
The competition was presented by the American Welding Society and sponsored by The Lincoln Electric Company.

Health Careers (Nursing Academy) Students Pass CNA exam.
Congratulations to seniors in the Health Careers (Nursing Academy) program at the Wayne Technical and Career Center for passing their CNA exam. 100% of the seniors achieved this accomplishment. Rachel Higbee is the instructor.
