Finger Lakes Youth Apprenticeship

On April 20th, students in the Advanced Manufacturing and Engineering (AME) program at the Wayne Technical and Career Center (WTCC) were recognized for participating in the Finger Lakes Youth Apprenticeship Program.

Personal Care Aide Certification Awarded to WTCC Students

On December 22nd, students in the Health Professions program at the Wayne Technical and Career Center (WTCC) were recognized for earning Personal Care Aide (PCA) certification. This is the first secondary school in New York State to offer the Personal Care Aide (PCA) certification. The instructors for the Health Professions program are Rachel Higbee, RN and Jessica Shaver, RN, BSN.

Quarterly Quality Students-1st Quarter

Students earned Quarterly Quality Student (QQS) awards at the Wayne Technical and Career Center (WTCC) in the first quarter. Students have been recognized by their instructors for demonstrating exceptional skills in the following areas: Communication Skills, Personal and Workplace Behaviors, Quality Process Skills, and Specific Technical and Career Skills.

Honor Roll 1st Quarter

Students earned Honor Roll awards at the Wayne Technical and Career Center (WTCC) in the first quarter. Honor Roll students achieved a 90 or higher average in their technical program.
