Honor Roll students have achieved a 90 or higher average in their technical program for the first marking period.
Over 140 parents/family members took part in celebrating their students’ achievements during the Wayne Technical and Career Center's annual Bring Your Parent to School Week. The event was held November 12-15th. Parents/family members visited the Technical and Career Center to experience first-hand the excitement of technical and career education.
Students have earned Quarterly Quality Student (QQS) awards at the Wayne Technical and Career Center (WTCC) in the first quarter. Students have been recognized by their instructors for demonstrating exceptional skills in the following areas: Communication Skills, Personal and Workplace Behaviors, Quality Process Skills, and Specific Technical and Career Skills.
On October 30th, Criminal Justice students participated in Active Shooter Training.
NY National Guard (Geneva) Recruiter, Stephanie Stack, SSG provided the software and tools for students to practice with.
The WTCC Criminal Justice instructional team consists of Steve Brannan, instructor and Lisa Lipp, teacher assistant.

Jason Brightful, Coordinator of Optical Systems Technology at Monroe Community College, presented to Advanced Manufacturing and Engineering students today in both the morning and afternoon sessions.
On October 21st, Lia Lando, News 8 at Sunrise anchor, presented the Golden Apple Award to the Wayne Technical and Career Center’s (WTCC) Auto Body Repair instructor, Jeremy Tiffany.
On September 25th, Scott Shove, presented a $6,160 check in remembrance of Anna Rose Shove to the Wayne Technical and Career Center’s (WTCC) cosmetology program. Marilee Nieznanski, Anna’s cosmetology instructor and WTCC Principal Andy McVey accepted the check on behalf of WTCC.
On September 4th, morning and afternoon student arrived to WTCC for the 1st day of the 2019-2020 school year.
On June 14th, the Wayne Technical and Career Center’s (WTCC) annual Student Recognition Ceremony was held at Wayne Central High School. A certificate of accomplishment was awarded by the Wayne-Finger Lakes (W-FL) BOCES to 197 students.
