The Carpentry program focuses on residential construction and remodeling. Students begin perfecting basic skills using industry standard tools. Students construct sheds during their first year, then apply those skills to construct a house for Habitat Humanity. Students also may have the option of learning finish carpentry skills. The program employs a standardized curriculum developed by and consistently updated by construction trades industry experts through the National Center for Construction Education and Research (NCCER).
