June 9, 2022. Students were recognized from Auto Body Repair, Auto Technology, Computer Programming and Video Game Design, Conservation and Power Mechanics
June 10, 2022. Students were recognized from Carpentry, Criminal Justice, Electrical Trades and Professions in Education.
June 13, 2022. Students were recognized from Cosmetology, Health Professions, New Vision Health Therapy Sciences, New Vision Medical Careers and Electrical Trades
June 14, 2022. Students were recognized from AME, Animal Science, Culinary Arts and New Vision Veterinary Assistant
The Wayne Technical and Career Center’s (WTCC) 42nd Annual Student Recognition Ceremony was held on the following nights of June 9th, 10th, 13th at the Wayne Education Center Gymnasium in Williamson. A certificate of accomplishment was awarded by the Wayne-Finger Lakes BOCES to 239 students.
The Pledge of Allegiance was led by the following students enlisting in military: Thomas Ellersick (Navy), Abbigail Phillips (Army), Michael Storto (Navy), Cara Viau (Marines), John Wimer (Navy) and Andrew Zelie (Marines).
Student speakers Shianne Frarey (Workforce), Emily Kozak (Finger Lakes Community College), Natale Krivitza (Niagara Falls Culinary Institute) , Lillian Trotta (Alfred State) and Cara Viau (Marines) reflected on their experience in their programs. Remarks were given by Andy McVey, WTCC Principal. Adam Smith, National Technical Honor Society Advisor inducted 60 students into the National Technical Honor Society.
